If I need to make a small introduction, I'm a 27yo Tourist Guide who got his salary only 3 times out of the last 18 months due to covid outbreak and earns his life thru Dota2 bets. Life is hard for all the tourism employees out there and pretty much no one gives a s*** about them, not only in my country but pretty much in every country.
I'm writing this topic just to guide the people who having hard times these days and tries to find their way through betting (which is absolutely a bad thing but no one can deny it is happening). The things I will write here are NOT Financial advice. I will just share my experiences which leads me to earn money on betting with hoping to help others.

1)Tools You Need:
Dota 2 matches have at least a 5mins delay between the game and the stream you watch. So if you betting the game with the ideas you have from the stream can be misleading. I use the website Hawk.Live to see real-time stats and networths and drafts. I can tell that HawkLive is also needs some improvements with the website however it's the best thing we have for now. (There are other live stats website out there you can find your own too)
2nd Website you need is good old Gosugamers.net. You can always check the teams' last matches and encounters on the website to have more ideas about the teams.

2) Bet on the things that you see with your eyes
Dota2 is like chess. You can be a good player but you can't win a chess game when you have 1 pawn and your opponent has 5 Queens. It is same for the Dota 2. The draft is the key in the game so NO MATTER WHAT DONT BET WITHOUT SEEING THE DRAFT. Watch professional games and try to have an idea about the meta and professional arena picks.

3) Do not swim against stream
There are specific teams and specific heroes that you should not bet against. For example;
- Avoid betting AGAINST Sven + Omni combo. If you trust the team that has Sven and Omni either bet on them or pass the match. Ofc Sven + Omni can lose however it is being too risky for us to bet against them when they are together.
- I personally don't like to bet against a Night Stalker offlane too. (Have more of these but want to keep the topic as short as possible)

4) The No No Matches
Because of the obvious reasons (which made me banned on BTS's twitch channel when I told) avoid making bets to specific tournaments and regions.
Regions you should bet: International Tournaments > European T1 Tournaments > CN T1 Region
The region you should NOT bet: NA Region*** >** CIS Region**
"Better donate your money to charity" regions:** SEA Region - SA Region
NA no longer has a Tier 1 scene which means the teams are less talented which means they have more potential to lose their game with mistakes that you normally do not count when you bet.

5) The EE Factor
Know the players. Have an idea about what they are capable of and what they are not. For me, I never trust EternalEnvy and his carrying abilities so even if the 4Zoomers are ahead with the networth, their opponents are always a bet option for me with their juicy odds.

EE Factor can also be a good thing like TORONTOTOKYO Factor. TorontoTokyo had a 93% win rate with his Storm Spirit until today. Today they lost against PSGLGD which decreased his winrate to 87%. Pretty solid and gives me confidence.

6) Loser Team always ( well, most of the time) will get fewer kills than you imagine
Scenario: After the draft you know that Team A will crush Team B simply because they are the better team. However, Team B's draft makes you think that they can fight at the early game for example with their zeus pick and gather some kills. You see that the odds of Team A game-winner is 1.20 but Team B over 16.5 is 1.80.
This is a common mistake where bettors lose their money. They read the draft with the way how games go in their bracket and think that even if a team gonna lose they can gather kills. A big NO. In the professional games there are rotations, babysits supports, nicely placed wards, gg call and a radar-like minimap control. There always be fewer kills than you think so. I do not recommend taking a over kill odds to a team that you think will lose the game. It is like the omni+sven thing. You may win some but in general, you will lose.

Pretty much with the combination of all these 6 topics. I'm still alive, eat whatever I want, do whatever I want to do, buy things without my salary. I have to say that I would prefer working and earning my money with my hard work every single day. I do not enjoy or like what I'm doing right now but desperate times need desperate solutions. Please bet responsibly. Do not bet with the money you need.

Hi guys! So i'm just new in betting (using PNXbet) I just want to know what does the x( middle odd) means. Because normally i just see two odds to choose from team 1 and 2.
