Car sleeping for the concert at Mohegan Sun Casino this coming Saturday
So I'm in a bit of a pickle atm . I bought tickets for this coming Saturday's show at Mohegan sun. However, I was the only one in my group of friends that got tickets, therefore the hotel prices are super pricing. Does anyone have experience sleeping in there car for concerts at the casino ? Just not trying to spend $300-$600 for a hotel that's only 2.5hrs away from my home.

I got my troop banned for life from Mohegan Sun casino (by starting an eating contest). My wife claims that it became Boy Scout legend. She's pulling my leg, right?
My wife claims she met old scouts from other troops that new my story, and claims I'm an unnamed legend or something. I think she's just easily excitable.
Here's how it happened, and on my honor, I did my best to follow scout law and code:
We had an annual trip to Mohegan Sun, which was basically the one trip that was more for the adults to have fun and get to know each other, while us scouts hung out in the buffet and fooled around. Until I came along.
This was over 15 years ago, I had just joined the Troop, and for those unfamiliar, Mohegan Sun was actually pretty interesting, despite not being able to enter the floor at all. It is a Native Casino, and has all types of beadwork and Native art, etc., so it was a cool atmosphere to hang out in.
We were limited to the buffet area, which we scouts were fine with; we could spend all day just chilling and chatting, and the buffet was an unlimited "All you can eat" style.
I was a restless kid with severe ADHD, so it wasn't long before I wanted to make things more interesting. I also wanted to impress everyone since I was still new to the Troop, so I issued a challenge to my fellow scouts: let's have a full-on eating contest.
I started pumping people up. "Full plates only!" "We need multiple refs to keep it fair!" "WE'RE GONNA EAT ALL THE FOOD THEY HAVE!"... I won a bunch of guys over, but there were a number of cynics.
Now, I had a secret. My metabolism was wild. I could eat a truly ludicrous amount of food. I wanted to go pro with eating contests. I did multiple sets of stomach stretches daily, on top of my unnaturally high metabolism.
So, I offered to eat a certain amount before anybody else to up the challenge, and that finally wet their appetites. It may have been a bad idea to pump them up first, it was immediately taken very seriously. Our refs were very careful that the plates were even, and we all got heaping full plates.
I went for it. I don't know the exact number of plates I finished - we stacked them to run an easier tally - but I made a tower very quickly. The excitement grew. Everybody went into a feeding frenzy to catch up... and then the hammer fell.
The kitchen cut us off. They had actually run out of a good number of buffet items. We checked the plates, and I had come out on top, but it was surprisingly close with one other scout... who then bolted from the food court.
He was rushing to the bathroom, and he almost made it, but just before he reached the door, a fountain of vomit poured out of him onto the floor, and it just kept going.
We all stood in silence, wide eyed, as he relinquished his stomach's burden. It felt like an eternity as each torrent was excruciatingly long. He didn't stop before the chain reaction began. Everyone. Barfed. Everywhere.
It was horrific. An entire Scout troop, moaning and crying out, spewing all over the food court in our dress uniforms. I somehow managed to keep it in. I swallowed back a few times.
The staff was mortified, the adults were initially concerned, then outraged. I don't remember exactly how things played out between the management and the Troop leaders, I dont even remember seeing them interact. I guess I was too caught up in the chaos.
In the end, the adults did their best to get us cleaned up, and once they new that we were ok, they whisked us off to the lobby and informed us of the lifetime ban, how much they liked having this tradition, and how it was all over now.
None of us were banned as individuals, but Troop 9 was not allowed to ever set foot in Mohegan Sun again.
You know what else never happened again? Eating contests.
Thanks for reading.
TLDR: I challenged my troop to an eating contest at a casino buffet, everyone vomited all over the place, resulting in a permanent ban for Troop 9 (maybe boy scouts in general?). And I won (but at what cost?)

It’s about 93 million miles (150 million kilometers) from Earth and it’s our solar system’s only star. Without the Sun’s energy, life as we know it could not exist on our home planet. The sun is a star, a hot ball of glowing gases at the heart of our solar system. Its influence extends far beyond the orbits of distant Neptune and Pluto. Without the sun's intense energy and heat, there would be no life on Earth. And though it is special to us, there are billions of stars like our sun scattered across the Milky Way galaxy. Our Sun is about 100 times wider than Earth, but it is just an average sized star. Astronomers have found some stars that are 100 times bigger than the Sun and others that are 10 times smaller. The Sun is also right in the middle of its lifecycle. Right now, our Sun is in a stage called yellow dwarf. It is about 4.5 billion years old. 8.8M views 4 years ago.
