Hey, all. I just got into regular sports betting this year (as I’m sure many others have as well), but I’ve been playing fantasy for years. Today I had kind of a silly thought for a new—at least I think it’s new—betting game to host with some friends.
Basically, it’s totals and overs/unders but with fantasy points. For example, the Colts are playing the Jets tonight. I went into the ESPN fantasy app and totaled all projected points for every player (including D) that has a projection >0.
In .5 PPR, non-decimal scoring, the Colts have a projection of 92.8 total points and the Jets 81.0 for a total of 173.8.
So first of all, is this a game that’s already played anywhere? Secondly, do I just set those totals as the oveunder, or is there another step involved? And should I do things like change 81.0 to 81.1 to avoid pushes, or leave it? Thirdly, how would I go about creating spreads, or is that even possible here? Maybe compare totals between projections from different sites or something?
Finally, does this sound like a fun game to anyone else? Do you have any ideas on how to improve the general idea?

WooFBet.com. Basically it's like normal fantasy football, except you can bet money on your fantasy team.

After you have signed up, you can PM me on reddit with your username and I will give you access to some features which are still being tested - most notably the ability to challenge another user to a head-to-head tournament.
If you have issues with the game balance (pricing of players), feature requests, interesting game modes or tournament types let us know. It's possible to have tournaments with unlimited budget or only the matches played by Tottenham over the course of the season etc. More complex stuff we can program. If you have any creative ideas I'm all ears.

What’s the best website/platform for online fantasy football betting? I’m somewhat new to fantasy in general (did NFL this year for first time)..just need a reliable platform (like yahoo for NFL) for the sport I actually enjoy.

How are websites like draft kings and that one week fantasy league shit getting away with online gambling and we aren't? I know we have Carbon and Bovada but still. Every commercial I have seen on ESPN was some type of fantasy betting site with deposit bonuses and some joe schmo that won like 600k supposedly. Sorry for the rant, just looking for some insight.

A few friends and I have had a fantasy league going for the past couple of year, but have never really had any "prizes" for the winner. With the season coming up we've all decided for everyone to put some money into a pot for the winner at the seasons end.
