Approximately during the last 12 hours, I somehow managed to make a return of 400$ on BJ online from an Inital buy-in of 50$ following basic blackjack strategy. Constantly betting 1/2$... I am aware the house has an edge of 0.5% My question is, am I just incredibly lucky? Will my luck run out soon?

I betting $1,000,000 that the Grinch is a better Christmas special and will be more remembered fondly that a NBC live musical that is gonna fail like they do every time. Lol

I’m a rec player felt like I could have gotten more value but not sure what I could have done differently.
Villain has about $200. I have about $700.
I’m dealt AJo in the BB. UTG+2 raises preflop to $20. Folds to me and I call. Flop is AAJ. I check my boat, player bets $30, I call. Turn is an A. I check my quads, player bets $50. I “think” for a bit and call. River is a J, so now there’s a boat on the board.
Player has about $100 behind and I have about $600. I bet to put him all in assuming he would call because only three hands would win. AX, KK, or QQ.
He folds almost immediately. With aces full of jacks on the board, was this the correct move? I assumed he would see the board thinking I was trying to steal and call for a chop.
Would it have been better to bet $40-50? I figured if he would call that he would call his remaining stack since it’s about a 1/2 pot bet. Should I have min raised on the flop?

It’s 5am and I just lost 5k on online slots betting $1
I was only doing $1 bets at first, then moved up to $1.40 then $1.60 bets all on the same machine. This is the third time I have lost 5k in a period of 1-2 days.
I am 25 and have lived with my grandpa since I was 10. He is 93 and for last 2 years his ability to do things on his own is slowly getting worse. I have only worked about 4 months the last 2 years because if I decide to work full time, my grandpa would need to go to a care home because he needs help with everything including food and bathroom. My family does not provide me with any money, but they are around alot during the day. I am fortunate I do not pay rent and my grandpa has plenty of money to survive.
My gambling and drinking addiction has been really bad lately because my depression has worsened which comes from seeing my grandpa lose his ability to do things on his own and wondering what I will do after he passes. It’s hard to make plans for my future, hang out with friends, think of going on a trip, trying to go on a date etc, because it would all affect me being able to care for my grandpa so I feel like I do not care about trying to save this money I have because like I said, I have no future plans for it and really just don’t care. I am also extremely bored. Besides going to the gym for 1.5 hours per day, I am in my bedroom on my computer or laying in bed watching tv.
Idk what kind of advice I’m looking for but just needed to type this out for some perspective and try to embarrass myself out of this hopefully. Part of me just wants to deposit again tomorrow because I have nothing else to make me feel happy or feel like I am having fun. And of course most gamblers know the feeling of being “owed” after putting so much into a machine and getting nothing back.
